The Group's pipeline is augmented by in-licensing compounds already marketed or at the late-stages of development from companies in the United States and Europe to market in Japan in order to take advantage of the lower risks associated with such compounds and the unique requirements of the Japanese regulatory environment. Significant out-license deals have been established and the company is developing its own sales and marketing organization, initially in Japan.
